This looks like the exact same app, from the icon, right down to the name it shows when installing, when installing this app it names it minify, when it should be play for spotify, minify is a different app, since I bought both, I compared them.

I’m unable to access all of my playlists (most importantly my favorite). Of the playlists I can access, half the songs are listed as “null”. Don’t waste your money.

OK

It’s nice to have spotify in the menu bar, which is why I purchased it. However, the app will only let you select one airplay speaker. So, if you want to hear the music from two different players, you’ll need to go outside the app.

This app logs into Spotify on its own, so there’s no need to even have the Spotify app open on your Mac. It lives in the menubar and not only is it a deft controller, but it also allows you to (1) SEARCH for songs; (2) ADD a song to any of your playlists; (3) BROWSE any of your playlists (song title only); and (4) adjust the streaming QUALITY to 320kbps. These features set it apart from the rest. Additionally, it displays the album artwork in the controller - and will also notify you in the Notification Center at the beginning of each song (with: artist, song, album and artwork). Well done!!
